Accessibility at tHrIVe
We want tHrIVe to be as accessible as possible – online and in person. If anything makes it hard for you to use our website, join a group or get support, please let us know so we can try to put it right.
Website accessibility
Our aim is to make this website clear and easy to use.
- Simple language wherever we can
- Clear headings and short paragraphs
- High-contrast colours and readable fonts
- Pages that work on mobiles, tablets and desktops
We are working towards making the site usable with screen readers and keyboard navigation. If something doesn’t work with your device or software, tell us and we’ll look into it.
Meetings and venues
We try to choose venues that are:
- Easy to reach by public transport
- Step-free or have lift access where possible
- Close to accessible toilets
If you have specific access needs – for example mobility support, hearing or vision needs, or sensory considerations – please contact us before a meeting and we’ll do our best to plan around them.
Communication preferences
Let us know if you:
- Prefer information in large print or digital format
- Need more time to read or respond
- Prefer text, phone or email over other options
We will try to communicate in the way that works best for you.
Confidentiality and safety
Because tHrIVe is for people living with HIV, we take privacy very seriously.
- We keep group locations and member details private
- We agree ground rules at every meeting
- We only collect information we genuinely need to run the group
You can ask us at any time how we handle and store information about you.
Feedback
We know we won’t always get everything right. If you spot an accessibility issue, or if something makes it hard for you to take part, please contact us. Your feedback helps us make tHrIVe more welcoming for everyone.
